Tierra Dorada bay is situated some distance away from the large holiday resorts of Fuerteventura. The beach and its surroundings have been mostly left to nature and this is an ideal location for a bit of peace and quiet. The golden brown beach offers plenty space to lie on and sun-loungers are also for hire. From the terrace of the beach restaurant you can enjoy a nice view and the neighbouring bays can be easily reached by walking along the beach.
Tierra Dorada - Golden brown, sandy beach with a cosy beach restaurantTierra Dorada is Spanish for “golden earth” and is situated between Costa Calma and Morra Jable, with the Mal Nombre beach to its south. Tierra Dorada is a quiet, natural bay hidden between rocks. The golden brown sand provides plenty comfortable room to spread out. In the direction of the sea and also at the back of the beach there are areas with larger, dark rocks covering the sand.
It is therefore advisable, especially for children, to have appropriate footwear. There are sun-loungers for hire and in the southern part of the bay you will find a small, sandy hill which can also be used to set up base. The restaurant of Tierra Dorada with the same name offers tasty drinks and local dishes at reasonable prices. From the terrace you have a nice view of the beach and the sea. It is also possible to walk along the beach to the neighbouring bays.
