Playa Valle de Santa Inés - Crashing waves and a fabulous view from the cliffs
Playa Valle de Santa Inés is situated on the west coast of Fuerteventura. From Antigua you can reach the bay of Valle de Santa Inés in about 30 minutes via a well built winding road through the spectacular hills of Betancuria. On the way you can enjoy the view of some of the beautiful valleys of the island.
On arrival at the beach you can already hear the noise of the waves crashing against the black rocks which protrude into the sea on both sides of the bay. The beach landscape is characterised by its rock formations and different coloured stones.
Unfortunately Santa Inés cannot be recommended for swimming, as the massive waves, the strong currents and dangerous rocks make it unsafe to go into the sea at any time of the year. However, you can climb the cliffs to have a fabulous view of the west coast of Fuerteventura and the chance to take some stunning photos.
