Cala Olivera - Natural swimming pool among the rocks with Chiringuito
At Cala Olivera you can enjoy a swim in a natural swimming pool among the rocks which border the bay with its crystal clear water. The small beach on the east coast of Ibiza is surrounded by a forest and is not far from the luxurious villas of Roca Llisa, where you can also find a golf club. The journey by car takes about half an hour from Ibiza town. There is a car park next to the beach at the gravel road.
The beach has plenty of areas to lie on the soft sand, or to relax on sun-loungers if you prefer. There are a few large stones in the water, but you don't particularly need footwear to cool off here. On a slightly higher level at the rear of the beach is a small Chiringuito serving fish dishes, snacks and cocktails. In spite of its exclusive location the beach makes a simple, down-to-earth impression. It does not get too full here and particularly couples and singles like to come to this beach to enjoy a relaxed day in natural surroundings.
At the western end of the beach a narrow path leads to a rock ledge. You can head here to enjoy the tranquillity and the view of two small offshore islands and then cool off by jumping into the deep blue sea.
