Sol d'en Serra - Sipping cocktails with a sea view
The grey, red and yellow crumbling rocks of the steep cliffs at Sol d'en Serra create a rough, but impressive natural landscape. On both sides of the open bay, mounds of rocks protrude from the sea and the light-coloured pebbles of the beach stretch out into the clear sea water. Sol d'en Serra is situated in the east of the island and can be reached by car in a quarter of an hour from Santa Eulària and in about 25 minutes from Ibiza town. There are plenty of car parking spaces and a narrow gravel path leads down to the beach.
The stony surface and a lot of algae in some parts of the water might put some people off swimming, but the Amante Beach Club, a particular highlight of Sol d'en Serra, more than makes up for this. Above the beach in a cliff setting you can sip cocktails on the terrace, feast on fish and risotto, have a massage, or from your sun-lounger just simply enjoy the impressive view. In contrast to many other beach clubs in Ibiza, there is no loud music blaring from the loudspeakers and the club is not quite as exclusive some of the others. The prices are a little bit higher than average, but are worth paying for the service offered here.
There is nowhere to lie on the beach of Sol d'en Serra and therefore it is usually not very busy here. Most visitors come to Sol d'en Serra to relax at the beach club.
