Its location in a small holiday resort in the north-east of Ibiza makes Playa de Figueral the ideal beach for the guests of the surrounding hotels. It can also be easily reached by car as it is well signposted and is only ten minutes' drive from Sant Carles. The road ends just a few metres from the beach and there are ample car parking spaces.
Approximately in the middle, the beach opens up towards the village and from the hotels situated on small, rocky hills, steps lead directly to the soft sandy beach. There are plenty of sun-loungers available from which you can enjoy the view of the sea and the surrounding wooded hills. There is a lot of greenery around the hotel buildings to improve the overall impression, and lifeguards on duty and a separate swimming area create a safe environment.
A concrete path leads to a very large rock which protrudes from the sea a few metres from the beach. Here you can settle down and watch the action on the beach, or you can get into the water to do some snorkelling. At Playa de Figueral water-sports enthusiasts can hire kayaks and boards for stand-up paddling and you can play beach volleyball in the sand.
Apart from the restaurants in the hotels Playa de Figueral has also a nice bar with a large terrace. The bar offers a small menu and drinks and sometimes there is a party in the evening.
Towards the north the cliffs nearly reach into the water. This narrow and somewhat quieter part of the beach is popular with nudists. If you continue further north from here you will come to a small bay. The route here is rather tricky because of the rocks, but you will be rewarded with solitude in a stony, rough and natural setting. There is a path through a hole in the cliffs leading to the small beach of Racó des Paller des Camp, which because of its surrounding steep cliffs cannot be reached in any other way. If you can make it to there, you will almost certainly be able to enjoy your own private beach.
