Playa d'en Bossa - Party hotspot for young people
When the sun sets in Playa d'en Bossa, the party in Bora Bora is already in full swing. There is dancing on the tables and on the beach between the palm trees, and for many this beach club is the starting point for a long night spent partying. The loud blasting music coming from the DJ mixes with the aircraft noise of the island’s airport which is only a few kilometres away. Since as long ago as 1986 the Bora Bora has been the first port of call for the party crowds from the European mainland, especially young Brits and Germans. There is hardly anywhere else on Ibiza that can compete with this place for partying on the beach.
The Bora Bora is however not the only factor which makes Ibiza’s longest sandy beach, almost three kilometres in length, to the hotspot for young people who want plenty sun-bathing and partying. There is something for everybody here, with plenty choice of beach clubs, restaurants and hotels. You can feast on oysters and caviar at the exclusive Coco Beach, or you can enjoy the complete programme for partying and relaxation at Ushuaia with its white beach beds, a large open air club and a bar on the rooftop of the hotel. Just behind the beach is Space, one of the best-known clubs in Ibiza for party animals. At both Ushuaia and Space famous DJs from all over the world regularly provide the music.
However, Playa d'en Bossa is not just about its variety of clubs and restaurants, as during the day many people come here to enjoy the soft sand and the shimmering turquoise sea. There is a wide range of action-packed activities on offer at the beach, from banana boats to jet-skis. North of the beach you can see the old part of Ibiza town and in the south on the hills is a natural setting where amazingly you can even find some peace and quiet. You can have a great view of the entire beach from the so-called pirate's tower.
