Port de Sant Miquel - Hotel complexes with large family beach
Port de Sant Miquel is situated at the end of a bay which stretches far inland. This small town in the north of Ibiza is dominated by large hotels, shops and restaurants. However, it doesn't make a overly congested impression, as there is a lot of greenery around. The narrow beach, which stretches a long way back inland, is right next to the promenade and can be easily reached on foot or by car.
Large palm trees and a view of the bay with its rocks and boats make up the nice setting of the beach of Port de Sant Miquel. It has everything families with children could want for an action-packed day at the beach. The fine sand is ideal for building sandcastles and the shallow water perfect for relaxing on an air-mattress. Fun in the water is also provided by banana boats, canoes and pedal boats with slides. For relaxation there are plenty of sun-loungers and parasols.
Directly next to the beach are several restaurants where mainly typical local dishes are served. Port de Sant Miquel is busy most of the time and can get rather crowded in the main season. Lifeguards keep an eye on the beach to make it safe here.
As well as hiring boats here, you can also book day-trips to many other places in Ibiza. Also near to Port de Sant Miquel is a stalagmite cave.
