Cala Bassa - Everybody wants to visit this beach
The numerous parasols at the beach will tell you that Cala Bassa, around 20 minutes by car from San Antonio, is one of the most visited beaches in western Ibiza. Hundreds of holidaymakers fill the 250-metre long beach of soft sand and cool off in the calm, turquoise sea. The pine tree forest at the rear of this bay rounds off the great natural scenery.
However many people come here not just because of the nice surroundings. The Cala Bassa beach club offers its guests a complete indulgence programme. The slightly elevated site stretches right along the entire length of the beach at the back of the sand. For hire are also luxurious beach beds in the shade between the trees where you can enjoy the private relaxation which is not possible at the crowded beach. There is also a large massage area, as well as boutiques.
The four restaurants and exclusive lounge of the club offer you a wide choice of culinary delights and there are numerous staff in white outfits around serving local dishes, sushi or snacks, even if you are on the beach. During the day DJs provide subtle background music. If there is an event on in the evening you can enjoy the louder music in a cosy atmosphere. The beach club prices are very expensive and the more you take advantage of the services on offer the more you will notice it on your bill.
The public area of Cala Bassa is very suitable for families with children. There is a shallow swimming area sealed off from the open sea and fun activities like jet-skiing and banana boats guarantee fun on the water.
