Haad Kruat is a comparatively unknown beach on the island of Koh Phangan which mainly attracts tranquility-seekers, families and couples. There are only two hotel complexes at this small rustic beach which is surrounded by large rocks at both ends and where the very high palm trees round off the impressive setting. A real eye-catcher here is the massage salon on stilts in the water. Haad Kruat is a great place to enjoy some peace and quiet away from the busy party scene.
Haad Kruat Beach - A tiny idyllic place away from the hustle and bustle
There is not much going on in the small bay of Haad Kruat on Koh Phangan, but this is what makes it special. This small idyllic place is on the west coast of the island and can be relatively easily reached by scooter from the main road. However, near Haad Kruat itself the condition of the road is not very good and you should drive carefully here.
Not many holidaymakers know this small bay and it is therefore very quiet here. There are only two lots of accommodation and also a beach restaurant here where you can find food. If you want to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the party scene of Koh Phangan, then Haad Kruat is just right for you. It is a wonderful place to spend the whole afternoon with a good book in a sandy bay, enjoying the seaside setting.
The coarse sandy beach, bordered at both ends by very large rocks, has a rather rustic appeal. The enormous palm-trees lined up next to each other along the beach give this place its special flair and if you like collecting shells, you will find plenty of them together with small pieces of coral on the beach.
It is mainly families and couples looking for peace and quiet who come here to spend a relaxed holiday.
