Summary of the Beach Inspectors
Especially in the summer months Cala Blanca is the perfect spot for a break from the hustle and bustle of Majorca's big tourist centres. The bay with its small stony beach is completely unspoiled, enabling you to relax and unwind in almost untouched mountain surroundings. There's also amazing snorkelling here. However you'll have to do without food outlets, water sports providers, sun loungers and other amenities.

Cala Blanca - Island nature rather than tourism

A rugged coastline that is interspersed with trees in some places, rocks and crystal clear Mediterranean water form the backdrop of Cala Blanca in the south-west of Majorca. The small bay lies just seven kilometres from the municipality of Andratx and yet visitors here feel as though they have discovered an almost untouched spot.

Cala Blanca is well signposted, making it easy to reach by car. From the car park a path leads across cliffs and rocks down to the beach, so sturdy footwear is recommended. The surface of pebbles and larger stones is mostly covered by a bed of soft, dried seaweed. If you want to soak up the sun you should come in the first half of the day because the bay faces east and in the afternoons the sun disappears behind the mountains.

There are no food outlets, water sports operators, showers or toilets at this unspoiled spot. What sets Cala Blanca apart is its location in the heart of rugged nature. A beach with few visitors, which provides privacy and peace even in peak season, awaits you here. It also offers very good conditions for snorkelling and diving. Lots of visitors arrive by sea, so there are usually a few boats anchored in the bay.
