Summary of the Beach Inspectors

This beach offers entertainment for families with younger children, as well as for adrenalin junkies and honeymooners. Giant palm-trees, a white sandy beach and the landmark of the island, the stunning mountain of Le Morne Barbant, provide a unique setting for this beach. Kitesurfers especially will get their money’s worth here, but you can also enjoy just watching the impressive action in the air. The beach is also ideal for diving and snorkelling thanks to the variety of marine life in the coral reef. Another highlight not to be missed here is the sun setting in the evening.

The St. Regis Mauritius Resort Beach - A resort beach with an exclusive view

The beach of the St. Regis Resort in the south-west of Mauritius has an impressive, breath-taking setting. The long, white, sandy beach is to be found on the Le Morne peninsular under enormous palm-trees directly at the Indian Ocean. Le Morne is known in the international kiting scene as having consistently excellent wind conditions. In the background you can see Le Morne Barbant Mountain which is part of the UNESCO world heritage.

The beach of the resort has plenty of space to relax on the sun- loungers and enjoy the service of the restaurants and beach bars, or to also to try some of the water-sport activities on offer. The beach is one of the best kitesurfing spots in the world. If you fancy some high power action, you should definitely have a trial lesson and find yourself transported through the air. Wind conditions for windsurfing are also excellent here and if you would like to explore the underwater world then this beach is ideal for that as well. Even large fish such as rays and sharks have their natural habitat here and you can enjoy both diving and snorkelling here at St. Regis Resort. In a small beach hut directly at the beach you will find providers who will help you with all your questions.

The resort itself offers a variety of sporting activities for young and old at the beach and you can also enjoy horse-riding along the beach.

In the evenings you can relax on a lounger and watch the sun setting.
