Veranda Paul et Virginie Beach
The Spa Beach of the adults only Veranda Paul & Virginie hotel is a very popular place for honeymooners and couples. The main reason for this is the dreamy setting with its turquoise-blue water, enormous palm-trees and the white sand, guaranteeing a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. Traditional fishing boats provide a colourful display on the water and the small islands off the coast of Mauritius give the lagoon an appearance of paradise. However, there is also action on the water with windsurfing and kitesurfing on offer and you should also certainly not miss out on the breath-taking underwater world here.

Veranda Paul et Virginie Beach - The honeymoon paradise!

The Spa Beach belongs to the Veranda Paul & Virginie hotel and is situated in the north of the island in the small fishing village of Grand Gaube. In spite of the increase in tourism the village has managed to keep its original charm and the hotel blends in nicely with the traditional atmosphere. The roofs are covered with dried sugar cane leaves and from every room you can see the Indian Ocean. From the beach itself you can watch the passing traditional wooden fishing boats.

The hotel is an adults only hotel and is especially popular with honeymooners, mainly because of the fantastic view across the water, where in the distance you can see the five small uninhabited islands situated off the coast of Mauritius. The white, sandy beach is surrounded by enormous palm-trees and completing the impressive setting is a bay of black lava rock.

The beach is also a popular spot for kiting, windsurfing and diving. There are excellent wind conditions in the Mauritian winter from June to September and you can hire equipment and book courses from the water-sports provider at the beach. The north is known for its fascinating underwater world and snorkelling and diving are well worth trying here.

However, the beach is best of all for rest and relaxation.
