Las Galgas - A bay hidden between hotels
The beach of Las Galgas, also known as Playa Paraiso, is hidden in the town of the same name on the Avenida Adeje 300. A long promenade connects the hotels in this area with one another. Las Galgas is situated between two vast hotel complexes. The beach does not look very promising from above on the promenade which runs around the beach. However, you will change your mind when you get down to the beach. It consists of grey sand, mixed together with pebbles and a few stones, underneath palm trees which provide plenty of shade in the midday heat. During the day the wind is almost always calm, but it can get windy towards the evening.
As the hotels take up most of the space here, the nearest car park is about one kilometre away. There are no toilet facilities, bars or restaurants at the beach. The majority of the visitors to this beach are guests of the neighbouring hotels.
