Playa de Fañabé - Hotspot for holidaymakers, with endless possibilities
Playa de Fañabé is situated on Costa Adeje in south-west Tenerife. It is an approximately 500-metre long sandy beach, but with stones and pebbles in places. In the north it is enclosed by rocks, over which a nicely designed way leads on to Playa del Duque. In the south the beach continues to Playa de Torviscas in the same bay.
Ledges in the water serve as breakwaters and ensure relaxing swimming conditions. The spaciously laid-out promenade runs along the whole length of the beach. Here you will find a lot of small and large restaurants, bars, shops and children's play areas. From the promenade you can also go directly to the Centro Comercial shopping centre and the neighbouring hotels.
On the beach there are several beach bars and beach clubs with sun-loungers, parasols and somewhat expensive food and drink. The relatively fine sand makes it a pleasure to lie in the sun, entry to the water is safe and there are lifeguards on site. A varied selection of water-sports including pedal boats, jet-skis and parasailing add to your options for an eventful day at the beach.
