Summary of the Beach Inspectors

Do you like romantic walks by the rocky coast? Then Praia da Falésia is just the place for you. Nature lovers will also get their money's worth along the red rocky coastline and water sports fans will love the sea. However, you should bear in mind that you'll have to carry your heavy gear across the sand. There is a restaurant where you can eat your fill, enjoying cold drinks and hot food as you let your gaze sweep across the kilometre of coastline.

Praia da Falésia Alfamar - Red cliff faces along the coastline

You're sure to find a spot to yourselves on this beach because, at a length of 6km, Praia da Falésia is one of the larger beaches in the Algarve. If you need plenty of open space, this is just the place for you. The wide area has lots to offer.

The red cliff faces separate the beach from the hinterland. If you take a walk you can see the relief of the furrowed rock faces and discover the natural history of the place. The interplay between salt water, sun and storms has created the unique coastline. As a result you will come across caves and rock tunnels that are truly unique and that make the Algarve so special.

In the early morning or in the evening, when the beach empties, it's perfect for jogging along by the sea. Sports fans will also get their money's worth at Praia da Falésia, but you'll have to bring your own equipment with you so you need to be happy to carry boards or other kit across the long sandy beach.

As well as vast expanses of nature you'll find a range of services at Praia da Falésia. Hotel ALFAMAR Beach & Sport Resort has a restaurant near the beach. You can settle down here if you need a break from the activities on the beach. Let your gaze wander over the rocky coastline and enjoy a drink or a delicious meal.
