Giniginamar - Quiet, sheltered bay in an idyllic little fishing village
The small village of Giniginamar and its beach of the same name are situated about 15 kilometres north-east of Costa Calma. The quiet bay has a sheltered location between two large barren rocks. The beach is covered with pebbles and only at the shoreline and in the southern part of the beach does this change into fine black-brown coloured sand.
Bordering the Giniginamar beach are a handful of white houses separated by some greenery. The quiet, idyllic scenery is rounded off by a few fishing boats on the water, the gentle lapping of small waves onto the beach and seagulls dozing on the rocks. The cosy fish restaurant offers local culinary delights and of course freshly caught fish.
