Playa el Jablito - Sheltered fishing bay with quiet, sandy beach
This small beach is situated on the east coast of Fuerteventura, about 30 minutes by car from the capital Puerto del Rosario. The cosy swimming bay belongs to a small, sleepy fishing village. There are small white houses in the background and several fishing boats can be seen in the sea and on land. The beige-coloured beach stretches for about 20 metres and is enclosed at each end by dark rocks which provide shelter from wind and currents.
The water is clean, shallow and ideal for children to play in. The beach is mainly frequented by the locals from the village. Fishermen at work and anglers enjoying their hobby can be observed from the water. There is also a spacious car park which offers enough space for campervans, so that you can stay here for a day or two to enjoy this idyllic little village.
