Tzemach Beach - Fun for kids on the water slides
Tzemach Beach is in the southern part of the legendary Sea of Galilee. Young and old come to this beach to enjoy public holidays and summer holidays, together with the music events here. From the road you can already see the tall water slides of the beach. Tzemach Beach, which is open from April to October, is particularly popular with families. It can get particularly full here during the hot summer months.
What will you find at Tzemach Beach?
There is free parking on the opposite side of the road to the entrance. On entry you can choose between a day, overnight, or family tariff. Since the beach is in a very touristy region, the admission is therefore high (18 Euros per day per person as of June 2016), but children under 13 get free entry. Once you’ve arrived at the beach you can quickly get an overview of the area. Toilets, showers, a kiosk which serves warm food, and large covered green areas. These areas are primarily used for camping and barbeques, but also provide shade for those who come for the day. There are parasols, chairs, and water fountains everywhere on the beach.
Family day at Tzemach Beach
In the summer holidays in July and August there are especially many families at this beach, as they can enjoy a lot of variety here, such as the many water slides and the children’s pool. Small children can also play here safely because the water is very shallow. The locals will show how you can really relax on this beach. Grab a plastic chair and put it in the knee-high water which will cool you down, give you a nice sun tan, and complete relaxation! The lifeguards ensure that swimming at Tzemach Beach is safe. In the summer months you can also canoe on the water.
Disadvantages of Tzemach Beach
The facilities of the beach are unfortunately rather dated. The beach is also not cleaned often enough, which means it quickly gets unpleasantly dirty.
