Summary of the Beach Inspectors
Here in south-west Majorca, close to the small port and tourist resort of Porto Petro, you will find an unspoiled bay with no tourist infrastructure. Bathers make themselves comfortable on the sand or along the large flat rocks that fringe the bay of Caló de Sa Torre to the right and left. A clean beach and clear water, surrounded by a lush natural landscape, attract families and relaxation-seekers alike from the nearby area. You will always find plenty of space, plenty of privacy and a vibrant underwater world here.

Caló de sa Torre - A peaceful sandy and rocky bay off the beaten track of mass tourism

The small natural beach of Caló de Sa Torre lies just five kilometres from the popular holiday destination of Cala d'Or in south-west Majorca. To get to this rather unspectacular bay, just follow the signs to the south of the port of Porto Petro.

The well-kept, clean sandy bay extends along a private pebble path before giving way to wide, flat rock surfaces. Whether it's on these rocky surfaces or on the clean sandy beach, families with children and relaxation-seekers find plenty of space in the sun here. Only one large hotel complex can be found in the immediate vicinity, which offers its guests direct access to the beach through a small gate. The few other bathers are mostly from the surrounding private houses and apartment complexes, some of which are situated almost right on the beach. Due to their low-level, discreet construction and the fact that they are surrounded by plenty of greenery, these do not spoil the scenery in the slightest.

In this spot you will find plenty of peace, nature, and clear water that is ideal for first attempts at snorkelling thanks to the gentle waves. But it's not just beginner snorkellers that should pay a visit to the underwater world. You won't find any water sports operators or other tourist infrastructure here, just a few motor boats lying anchored. Those who come to Caló de Sa Torre appreciate the natural and unaffected atmosphere of the bay.
