Cala Blanca - Four calm and tranquil bays near Peguera
Cala Blanca is the name of the unpretentious coastal landscape of the Costa de la Calma resort on the south-west coast of Majorca, which consists mainly of private residences and pool villas. Cala Blanca includes four small bays, which are somewhat tricky to find because of the lack of signs. The entrance is located right by Hotel de Oro. From there it's a roughly three minute walk over rocky terrain to the coast.
Arriving at the shore you will first find yourselves in a small stony bay with around 13 metres of waterfront. Continuing over rocky ground you will come to the biggest section, a roughly 45 metre long sandy bay where most people, and especially families, can be found. Naturists in particular will feel at home in the adjacent stony bay. Another bay, surrounded by cliffs and with a soft carpet of seaweed, completes the set. All four bays are right next to each other but they are separated by rocky terrain which requires some climbing skill.
The types that come here are those that appreciate a natural, clean and peaceful beach atmosphere and are happy to manage without any tourist infrastructure. Surrounded, but not spoiled, by private residences and pool villas, almost all age groups are represented here. You definitely need to be steady on your feet.
